66% of British cheaters check up on their partner to see if they lie too

If your partner is cheating, there’s a good chance they suspect you might be cheating too – and according to shocking new survey results released today, British cheaters are checking up on you. 

Conducted by Victoria Milan the survey asked cheaters whether they check up on their partners, how they monitor their partner’s movements and how they cover their own tracks when they’re on the prowl.

While 73% of the 3,859 British cheaters surveyed stick to the tried-and-true method of deleting all possible evidence from their cell phones, nearly 19% of British cheaters go as far as having a secret mobile phone they use exclusively to get in touch with their illicit lovers.

66% of British cheaters admit they snoop around to see if their partner is cheating as well, and 28% say they do it by using apps, cameras and other tracking devices like ‘Find my Iphone’.

Founder and CEO of Victoria Milan, Sigurd Vedal, said the results were shocking, and that cheating had entered a new era with the introduction of technology.

“Technology definitely makes cheating is easier but it can also make it more risky.  The ironic thing is, we’re seeing cheaters using devices, apps and more to check if their partner is cheating. When it comes to covering their own movements, cheaters are sticking to old-fashioned methods, such as making sure their partner is busy or making sure their dates are far from home or familiar places,” Mr Vedal said.
