We surveyed 9,856 of cheating male and female members, and found the majority of adulterous parents believe their children would never forgive them for divorcing.

94% of cheating parents say having children is one of the reasons why they would not consider ending their marriage.**

Founder and CEO, Sigurd Vedal, said the results demonstrate that parents continue to put their child’s happiness before their own.

“Some couples are desperately unhappy in their marriages; however they stay together for the sake of the kids.  Divorce does divide families, and can cause heartache for children that can lead to issues in later life, so it’s easy to understand why couples do what they can to stay together.

“Nearly three-quarters of our married members who have children tell us that having an affair makes them a happier person, and in turn, helps them to keep their marriage together,” Mr Vedal said.
