Cheating boyfriend or cheating girlfriend, your friends won’t reveal...

Most people know someone who’s secretly cheating on their partner – but would they ever break the friend-code and expose the cheating? We have asked 6,511 of our male and female members to find out.

71% of people know that their friends are cheating, and 83% know the partners who are being cheated on. Astoundingly, 96% say they would never reveal to their friend’s partner that they are being cheated on.

The primary reason for not exposing the cheating is because the majority (34%) do not want to be the person responsible for destroying original relationship. 30% said they would like their friends to protect them in the same way, and 23% feel it is their duty to cover for their friend.

Founder and CEO of Victoria Milan,** Sigurd Vedal**, said the results show the friendship code is still alive and well when it comes to cheating.

“Any friend that a cheater confides in about their adulterous affairs is going to be a very, very good friend, and will never reveal what they know. The friend-code is unbreakable, and cheaters are almost unanimous in saying that the person being cheated on should never be told by a friend of the cheater,” he said.
