Infidelity in Marriage - Cheating Statistics & Facts on Unfaithful Spouses Using Taxi

The results of a new study that we have conducted among 12,000 members indicate that a significant number of cheaters use taxis to go on dates with their lovers. In fact, according to our calculations, cheating Europeans spend, on average, 104.94 euros per month on taxis to transport them to their unfaithful unions.

The majority of cheaters (40%) surveyed said taxis are their preferred mode of transport when conducting an affair dating. The Underground is used by 32% of cheaters, 16% take a public bus and 12% ride a tram.

Most participants using taxis (62%) say they spend an average of 30 euros each trip to meet with their lovers, 13% spend less than 20 euros and 25% clock up around 30 – 60 euros on the meter.

Founder and CEO of Victoria Milan, Sigurd Vedal said having an affair is a money-can’t-buy experience worth investing in.

“It’s likely 40% of our members use taxis only when meeting with their illicit lovers, however it is money worth spending.  Using your personal vehicle exposes you to recognition or identification – taxis are safe and anonymous, just like Victoria Milan.  Spending 30 euro on a taxi to meet with your lover is money well spent!,” Mr Vedal said.

Calculation

The taxi spending calculation is based on the survey results extrapolated to the number of Victoria Milan global members (5 million members) multiplied by the amount of dates cheaters have monthly (average of 3.3 dates), and how much on average they spend on taxis every time they go on a date (average of 31.8€). What it represents is a monthly revenue of € 209.880.000 globally for the taxi industry.
